Lifeline Provides Transportation to Cancer Patients

Recognizing that transportation to and from treatment is often one of the most difficult challenges cancer patients face, the Lifeline Transportation Program makes transportation to and from treatment more accessible to cancer patients.

Funded by a grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, the Lifeline Transportation Program is designed to meet this need by bringing together community organizations and transportation providers to transport cancer patients to and from their cancer treatment appointments.

For more information about the American Cancer Society's transportation programs, call 1-800-ACS-2345.
